Namitete Ya Ku London (NYL) donates to needy pupils at Chawantha Primary school in Lilongwe.

In a bid to promote education among vulnerable pupils in the country,Namitete Yaku London , a non-governmental organization has donated school uniforms to Chawatha Full Primary school in the area of traditional authority Kalolo in Lilongwe.

Speaking on Friday during the handover ceremony held at Chawantha Primary School,NYL Finance manager Agatha Kachere said the donation was made as a way of addressing challenges that needy pupils face at the school.

She said they choose Chawantha Primary School because of its commitment to providing quality education to its learners,despite the challenges it faces.

“Our team was impressed by the school’s dedication to its learners and its learners and its need for support. By partnering with Chawantha, we aim to make a tangible impact on the lives of its students and contribute to the school’s ongoing efforts to improve educational outcomes,” She said.

Kachere advise and remind learners that education is a powerful tool that can transform their lives and future, saying the organization believes in each and every learner and is committed to support them on their educational journey.

“To the community, we extend our gratitude for your warm welcome and collaboration. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been there and look forward to our next visit,when we will provide learning resources to further support the learners and who are performing well in class,” She said.

According to Kachere NYL initiative was driven by a desire to support the education and well-being of young students as the plan is to return to the school and provide learning resources to further enhance the education experience of the learners.
